Keeping it in the family

  • Posted
The old saying of “Keeping it in the family” is true when it comes to Katie Price and promoting her new equestrian line of clothing by using her children, Junior (aged 4 years) and Princess (aged 2 years) to model her new products.

One wonders whether Peter Andre, the children’s father is really in agreement with his children’s new career…..

In the event Peter sought to object, just what could he do about it? Well both Peter and Katie have parental responsibility for their children which grants Peter the right for his opinion to be considered and not for Katie to make such a decision on her own.

Ideally Katie and Peter should attempt to discuss the decision between them amicably and/or potentially discuss with the help of a third party such as a mediator. In the event Katie and Peter could not agree and Katie continued with her decision for Junior and Princess to be her models, Peter would have no other option but to issue Court proceedings applying for a Prohibited Steps Order preventing Katie using the children as models. The test the Court would apply would be “what is in the best interests of the children?” Ultimately when the parents were still in a relationship they must have agreed to their children’s involvement with their reality TV show. In addition it appears that both children at the tender ages of 2 and 4 years old are becoming household names! Therefore by Peter’s previous decisions he may struggle in the future……..
