The Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC) aim to serve the public interest and protect consumers of conveyancing services. In this capacity, if it is identified that an organisation needs to be closed down to protect public interest the CLC will ‘intervene’.
All documents and papers that relate to its clients, including files and accounting records are removed from the intervened firm. To assist with this the CLC appoints Intervention Agents to look after the client’s files and redistribute as requested.
Enquiries relating to CLC interventions should be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org alternatively call 0333 344 4775
