Senior Associate and Court of Protection Case Manager

Biography

Rachel is a senior associate in our Court of Protection team.

Rachel began her legal career with Stephensons in April 2015 by joining our new business team. She then moved to the Probate department where she began working within the Court of Protection team. For a number of years now, Rachel has focused almost exclusively on Court of Protection work and has developed her skills and knowledge in that area to become a case manager. Rachel specialises in professional deputyship matters and manages her own case load which consists of professional Court of Protection deputyships and professional trust files.

Rachel also has knowledge in the field of Will writing, Lasting Powers of Attorney and the estate administration.

Rachel particularly enjoys helping vulnerable clients and their families overcome challenges. She is committed to trying to ensure that every client’s financial arrangements enable them to live the best life that they can. Rachel’s clients praise her for her empathetic and practical approach.

Rachel is a Paralegal member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives. Rachel has achieved her CILEX Diploma in Law and is working towards her CILEX Professional Diploma in Legal Practice. Rachel plans to continue her education and qualify as a solicitor once she has obtained CILEX lawyer status. Rachel is supervised by Judith Thomas-Whittingham.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys walking her dogs, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
