Marissa is a graduate paralegal in the firm’s employment team based in Wigan and is supervised by Philip Richardson.
Marissa graduated from the University of Liverpool with First Class Honours in Bachelor of Laws (LLB Hons) in 2023. After graduating, Marissa completed the Bar Practice Course (BPC) under the University of Law in October 2024 with merits. Being called to the Bar in March 2025. Marissa then joined the Stephensons’ employment team in March 2025.
Marissa’s duties include:
- Handling new enquiries
- Assisting in settlement negotiations
- Preparing settlement documents or agreements
- Managing case files
- Providing advice on subjects from discriminations claims to unfair dismissal
