Amelie Englander
Amelie Englander is a graduate paralegal in the Court of Protection department. Amelie assists the solicitors in the team with sensitive and often complex Court of Protection and community care cases, including:
- Being the first point of contact for new clients
- Drafting Court of Protection documents
- Assisting the solicitors in the team with all aspects of health and welfare cases in the Court of Protection
Amelie has experience of assisting solicitors in the team on a wide range of issues concerning the capacity and best interests of vulnerable adults, including applications pursuant to s21A and s16 of the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
Amelie has previous experience in areas such as conveyancing and has been in the legal field for over a year.
Amelie graduated from King’s College London in July 2024, with an upper second class (2:1) honours degree in Classical Studies and English. She has since graduated from her MA in Law at the University of Law and is due to undertake the SQE1 in July 2026.
Amelie is compassionate, a strong researcher, and effective communicator. She is a clear, creative and pragmatic thinker, thus valuing the client in all matters.
In her free time, Amelie enjoys reading, cooking, and looking after her two Ragdoll cats, Pistachio and August.
