Driving instructor injured during lesson - £2,699 settlement

Our personal injury claims handler, Samantha Ord,  settled a case for a driving instructor who was injured while teaching a lesson.

At the time of the incident, the client was in the passenger seat of her car conducting a learner driver. When the car came stop at a roundabout, the vehicle behind collided with the rear of the client’s car, causing the car to shunt forward.

The client, who suffered soft tissue damage to her neck, back and shoulders as a result of the accident, had to undergo a series of rehabilitation sessions. The accident also resurfaced pain from a previous surgery. The defendant admitted full liability and the case was settled for £2699.
