Our experience

We understand the importance of a commercial property in contributing to the overall brand image of a businesses operating in this sector. We also understand the developers and investors requirements. We seek to provide you with solutions that fit your specific circumstances. Our aim is to provide transparent pricing and the team is based at out of town locations. This translates in to competitive prices that are fixed where possible.

Recent work in the retail and leisure industry includes:

1. Our commercial property team have advised on the acquisition of various sites in North Wales to create retail development parks, the latest including at least seven large retail units. In addition to the acquisitions via conditional contracts and option agreements, the team has acted in related planning, highways matters, avoiding footpath diversions, s106 agreements, release of restrictive covenants, new easements, and four pre-lets to high street names such as Tesco, Argos, Wilkinsons and Aldi.

2. We acted for an investment and development company in its acquisition of a development site in Dunstable (the site being a former public house and neighbouring land) and assisting with planning applications and planning agreements for development to retail store and apartments.

3. We have assisted a major college with their  involvement in the development of a sports village, a development comprising (amongst other units) a sporting stadium, swimming complex, training pitches, houses and apartments, a college, retail supermarket, hotel and leisure facilities. The college owned the majority of the development site, together with the local authority, and the transaction required the total restructuring.
