Biography
Sarah is a graduate paralegal in the general crime department.
Sarah started her career at Stephensons in January 2019. Prior to this, Sarah graduated from Edge Hill University with an upper second (2:1) class honours degree in law in 2018.
Sarah assists the partners and solicitors within the department in the vital work of ensuring that our clients cases are fully prepared before their court appearance. This will frequently include meeting with clients in the office or going to visit them in custody to take their instructions. Sarah’s role involves liaising with counsel to ensure that they are fully briefed, instructing experts where their input is required and attending court as part of the defence team.
Sarah will often be the first “port of call” for clients who contact the team for confidential advice. She will provide that initial advice to new clients who have either been contacted by the police or are required to attend court.
