Biography
Matthew is a solicitor in the clinical negligence department and joined Stephensons in October 2022.
Matthew is a dual-qualified solicitor in Hong Kong (2020) and in England & Wales (2022). He initially assisted other fee earners in a wide range of cases including surgery, orthopaedics, still births, delays in diagnosis and brain injuries. He is currently focused on building up his own caseload.
Prior to working at Stephensons, Matthew obtained a first class honours degree in law from the University of York. He has experience working in Hong Kong in various practice areas including personal injury, family law and criminal law. He has applied this experience to managing clinical negligence claims for clients.
Matthew seeks to help clients and their families from all walks of life secure compensation in clinical claims and guiding them through what may at times seem to be a difficult and frustrating litigation process.
Matthew is multilingual and is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin.
