Emma joined Stephensons as a graduate paralegal in the Court of Protection and community care team in May 2024, where she is supervised by Sophie Maloney.
Emma regularly assists the fee earners in the department with complicated and sensitive cases, this includes:
Prior to starting at Stephensons Emma completed her law with criminology degree at Edge Hill University in May 2024. During her time at university, she worked in a psychiatric hospital and in a care home where she obtained experience in s21A of the Mental Capacity Act 2005. She hopes to start the SQE and obtain a training contract in the near future to develop her career in law.
