Stephensons retains three trainee solicitors

Three trainee solicitors have completed their training contracts with the leading national full service law firm Stephensons Solicitors LLP.

Rebecca Billinge, Francesca Snape and Sarah Masters have all completed a rigorous, two-year training programme at the firm and have been retained to take up positions in the discrimination and employment, regulatory and personal injury departments.

Francesca Snape joined Stephensons in 2013 as a graduate paralegal in the criminal justice and regulatory department. She completed her legal practice course whilst working part-time and was awarded a training contract in 2016.

Following the completion of her degree Rebecca Billinge joined Stephensons’ personal injury department and shortly after secured a training contract with a recognised Warrington firm.

Towards the end of 2017 Rebecca returned to Stephensons and transferred the remainder of her training contract so that she could qualify as a solicitor in the employment and discrimination team.

Sarah Masters joined Stephensons in 2014 as a graduate paralegal at the clinical negligence department and was awarded a training contract in February 2016.

Louise Griffths, Trainee Principal and Partner, Stephensons, said: “The process of training to become a solicitor is long and extremely competitive, but it leads to a very rewarding career in law. It is always a pleasure to watch our trainee solicitors progress within the firm. This time of the year I always look at the great careers of many partners at the firm who started with us as trainees and graduate paralegals”.
