Stephensons is delighted to announce that the firm has been awarded the Investors in People Gold standard.
Following an arduous assessment period Stephensons was able to demonstrate effective management and continual development of its staff across the firm. Only three per cent of the Investors in People accredited companies are awarded the Gold standard.
The Investors in People assessment praised Stephensons for its management training programme which is open to everyone. It also commended the firm for its work on involving staff in the implementation of the new IT system.
Stephensons’ Chairwoman Ann Harrison said: ”This award is the culmination of decades of hard work to ensure our people feel part of a team, with everyone working to achieve the firm’s objectives and values”.
Janine Turner, Head of HR at Stephensons said: “We are delighted to be awarded the Gold standard. This provides further independent evidence that Stephensons is an employer committed to developing, supporting and involving everyone at the firm. Our people are our greatest asset and we are delighted to hear that they see us as a fair and supportive employer. We could not have done this without the people who spoke with the Investors in People assessor and everyone else at the firm who assisted in the process”.
