Fall due to workmen at home - £3,097
Stephensons’ personal injury solicitors were able to obtain a settlement of nearly £3,100 after our client was injured in her own home.
Two days prior to the accident, our client had workmen at her home due to a gas leak. The workmen had made an excavation hole near to our client’s front door. Our client, a 69 year old woman who suffers from memory problems, stepped out of her door and fell into the hole which had been left uncovered with no barriers surrounding it.
As a result of her fall, our client suffered from a sprained left ankle and a laceration to her shin which required stitches. Stephensons was able to obtain an out of court settlement for our client for £3,097 to compensate her for her injuries.
If you’ve been injured as a result of someone working in your own home, we have a dedicated team of personal injury solicitors who are able to investigate your case.
