Client receives £42,000 following injury to leg

Our client was awarded £42,000 after injuring his left leg while working in the defendants yard.

Pauline Smith, associate and personal injury claims handler recently settled a case for a claimant who had sustained an injury after a dumper truck had ran over his foot then up his left leg, snapping his tibia and fibula.

The claimant worked for Hubbway Limited as a plant fitter. On 7th April 2016 the claimant was due to check a dumper truck which had been brought into the workshop. As the claimant approached the dumper to carry out his checks, an apprentice caught the forward control lever and the truck then ran over the claimants foot then up his left leg, snapping his tibia and fibula.

After Stephensons proceeded with the case against Hubbway Limited, the case was settled and the claimant received £42,000 compensation.
