Martyn Jackson

Biography

Martyn is a paralegal in the regulatory department, and specialises in regulatory defence, professional discipline and health and social care defence.

Martyn joined Stephensons in October 2016 as a new business advisor for the regulatory department and has gained a lot of experience within his nine years at the firm.

Martyn started his Cilex paralegal apprenticeship qualification in February 2020 and qualified as a paralegal in May 2022.

Martyn assists the partners and solicitors within the regulatory department specialising in numerous areas including:

• Road transport regulation and operator licencing
• Firearms licencing
• Health and safety investigations
• Trading standards investigations and prosecutions
• Professional discipline, including General Medical Council (GMC) and Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
• Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)
• Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
• CQC & Ofsted regulation.

He is supervised by Paul Loughlin.
