Biography
Matthew is a graduate paralegal in the Wills and probate team based in Wigan and is supervised by Rachelle Nuttall.
Matthew joined the firm in September 2022 as part of the interventions team before moving to the Wills and probate department in April 2025. He graduated from the University of Gloucestershire with an Upper Second-Class Honours degree in Law (LLB) and subsequently completed a Master of Laws (LLM) in July 2026.
Matthew is currently working towards qualification as a solicitor through the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) route, having successfully passed SQE1 in January 2026.
He manages his own caseload of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, while also assisting Rachelle Nuttall and Katie Mayren with estate administration and property protection matters.
Outside of work, Matthew enjoys supporting Manchester United and spending time in the Lake District.
