Elizabeth Maudsley
Elizabeth is a Graduate Paralegal in the regulatory department and assists the Partners and Solicitors with cases in relating to CQC and Ofsted regulation, professional discipline, inquests and regulatory defence.
Elizabeth completed an LLB Law degree and graduated from Lancaster University in 2024. She went travelling around the world before beginning her legal career at Stephensons in January 2025.
In her spare time, she loves to spend her time hiking, travelling and eating good food.
Katherine has assisted on the following cases:
- Ofsted Childminder Notice of Intention to Cancel: assisted in taking instructions and preparing detailed written representations and evidence against a proposed cancellation of a childminder’s registration due to serious safeguarding concerns.
- Investigation by the ACCA: assisted in taking instructions from and advising an accountant facing a disciplinary investigation by their professional regulator.
- Appeal against a Refusal to Renew a Firearms Licence: assisted in taking instructions, preparing witness statements and advising on an appeal against the Police firearms licencing department’s decision to refuse to renew a firearms licence in the Crown Court.
