Manchester solicitor, Nick Hodson, has taken time out from his busy schedule to star in a national Christmas television advertising campaign with Gethin Jones.
The Manchester lawyer, who is, by day, a partner specialising in Children law at Stephensons Solicitors LLP, is now starring in the Holland and Barrett Christmas television advertisement as part of a Christmas-carol-singing choir.
The opportunity came about when the choir that Nick is part of – Manchester Glee – was invited to perform for the advert.
Nick explains: “Manchester Glee formed around 18 months ago in Chorlton and I have been a member for one year. One of the producers had seen us performing at a concert earlier in the year and approached us with a view to performing on the Christmas Holland and Barrett advert.
“It was great fun filming the advert in St Ann’s Square – it took place in August so it was strange to wear winter clothing and to be surrounded by fake snow! It’s amusing when people I know say that they have spotted me on TV but I’m not giving up the day job just yet!”
