The 2023 edition of The Legal 500 has awarded Stephensons top tier status for the eighth consecutive year.
Seen as the definitive guide to the legal profession, The Legal 500 undertakes stringent research into the industry. The independent guide recommends law firms for their expertise by ranking them in tiers and also highlights any outstanding legal professionals.
In total, the guide awarded rankings to eight practice areas. Commendations were given to Stephensons’ crime, fraud, clinical negligence, personal injury, family, and social housing teams with further recognition for local government law and professional discipline.
Among numerous departments which were ranked this year, The Legal 500 reserved particular praise for Stephensons’ family team, which achieved a tier 1 ranking, and the firm’s crime and fraud departments, both of which received the coveted ‘Tier 1’ ranking for the eighth consecutive year.
