Victoria Melluish, a solicitor in the Stephensons’ family law department has attained The Law Society Children Law Accreditation.
The Law Society awards accreditations to legal practices and solicitors who meet the highest standards of technical expertise and client service in specific areas of law. The Children Law accreditation recognises a particular specialism in legal issues relating to children.
Victoria’s accreditation now brings the total number of Children Law accredited solicitors at Stephensons up to eight, one of the highest numbers of accredited solicitors of any family law practice in the North West of England.
Victoria Gethin, head of the family department at Stephensons said: “I am delighted for Victoria and very proud that her hard work and talent has been recognised in this way. Achieving Law Society accreditation is no easy task, it follows a very rigorous and stringent process and is a landmark moment in many solicitors’ careers, naturally we all absolutely thrilled for Victoria.
“We now have eight Children Law accredited practitioners at the firm. That, among many other things, reflects the strength and depth of talent within the Stephensons family team.”
