The national law firm, Stephensons, has announced two new associate solicitors in its family law department.
Emma Roberts, based in the firm’s Manchester office and Nicola Clayton, in Wigan, receive their associateship effective immediately.
The role of associate is recognition by the partners of Stephensons to employees who have made a substantial and sustained contribution to the firm. Emma and Nicola’s associateship is the latest in a round of promotions made across the firm, in multiple departments.
Emma Roberts joined Stephensons in April this year and represents clients on a range of family law issues, notably divorce and civil partnership dissolution, pre and post nuptial agreements, disputes concerning children and financial issues arising out of divorce or dissolution.
Nicola joined Stephensons in August 2018 and specialises in representing parents when social services are involved with their families.
Victoria Gethin, partner and head of the family department at Stephensons said: “Both Emma and Nicola have made a significant impact in their time here at Stephensons and work tirelessly to provide their clients with the very best support and legal guidance. I’m delighted that their effort and achievements over the past few months has been recognised by the firm.”
