The national law firm, Stephensons, has announced a new round of Partner and senior associate promotions, effective from May 2025, as part of its ongoing commitment to recognising exceptional talent and supporting long-term growth across both legal and business services teams.
These latest promotions reflect Stephensons’ continued investment in the development of its people and its strategic focus on strengthening expertise across key practice areas and operational functions.
A total of four individuals have been promoted to Partner, spanning both client-facing and business-critical roles:
Chris Gibbons, Partner - Head of IT Department
Chris becomes a Partner in recognition of his strategic leadership of the firm’s IT operations, driving innovation and efficiency across all areas of the business.
Shelley Naughton, Partner - Compliance Solicitor and Data Protection Officer
Shelley’s promotion acknowledges her continued development of the compliance team and committed support to the wider firm on all aspects of legal compliance.
Chloe Parish, Partner - Regulatory law
Chloe has been instrumental in delivering expert regulatory advice across a range of sectors, particularly Ofsted regulated settings, playing a key role in the department’s continued success and national reputation.
Shahina Sakeria, Partner - Personal Injury
With extensive experience in complex personal injury matters, Shahina’s promotion recognises her exceptional commitment to client care and the development of the team.
In addition to the new Partners, four colleagues have also been promoted to senior associate:

Rob Gambles - Solicitor - Commercial Property
