Family solicitor secures Children Law re-accreditation

Amy Jones, an associate solicitor in Stephensons’ family law team has secured Children Law re-accreditation (formerly Children Panel) from the Law Society.

A Children Law Accreditation is recognised as a quality standard for practitioners representing children in children law proceedings. It is seen as a way for clients and professionals (such as guardians) to choose a qualified practitioner when a child needs representation.

First accredited in February 2020, Amy joins eight other family solicitors at Stephensons to be Children Law accredited, one of the most of any family law firm in the North West of England.

Commenting on Amy’s achievement, Victoria Gethin, partner and head of the family law team at Stephensons said:

“Children Panel Accreditation is a milestone moment for any family solicitor, and I’m thrilled that Amy has been recognised once again. Amy has a wealth of experience supporting children and their guardians through challenging and often complex cases and this re-accreditation supports that breadth and depth of knowledge and the quality of her work.”
