Estate  
The rights and assets of a person in property.
 
Evidence
Documents or other material which is used to support a person’s case.
 
Ex Parte Hearing
An application to Court where one party puts their case to the Court without the involvement of the other party. Also known as ‘without notice’.
 
Expert Witness 
A person who is employed to give evidence on a subject in which they are qualified or have expertise.
