Biography
Neil has worked at Stephensons for over 22 years. He started as a law costs draftsperson in the costings team and was then promoted to department manager in 2006. Since that time the costs team has grown providing all costing services to the firm. The team has also provided costings services to external clients to include Government departments and local authorities. The team is currently 14 people.
In January 2013 Neil was made a salaried partner.
In 2016 Neil also took over the management of the firm's compliance team, which is a team of three people. The team provides all compliance functions for the firm to include file auditing, AML oversight, training, data protection, regulatory compliance, accreditations, PII renewal, claims management, general compliance advice.
In 2021 Neil was authorised by the SRA to be Money Laundering Reporting Officer and then in 2022 was also authorised to be Money Laundering Compliance Officer.
