Martyn Jackson

Biography

Martyn is a paralegal in the regulatory department, and specialises in regulatory defence, professional discipline and road traffic offences.

Martyn joined Stephensons in October 2016 as a new business advisor for the regulatory department and has gained a lot of experience within his six years at the firm.

Martyn started his Cilex paralegal apprenticeship qualification in February 2020 and qualified as a paralegal in May 2022.

Martyn assists the partners and solicitors within the regulatory department specialising in numerous areas including:

• road transport regulation and operator licencing
• road traffic offences
• customs and excise
• firearms licencing
• health and safety investigations
• trading standards investigations and prosecutions
• General Medical Council (GMC)
• Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
• National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL)
• Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)
• Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

He is supervised by Paul Loughlin.
