Fitness to Practice

We have experience of successfully dealing with cases against Nurses and Midwives bought by the NMC. If you have received a letter explaining that you are under investigation by the committee we can provide you with expert advice to provide a response within 28 days  in writing back to the Committee.

If at it is decided that there is still a case to answer, whether it has been referred to the Conduct and Competence Committee panel or a Health Committee panel we can defend you against any of the following categories of allegations of fitness to practice resulting from, Misconduct, Lack of competence, Character issues and Poor Health. We have a detailed understanding of the Code outlined by the NMC and we understand the process that the panel goes through in assessing allegations.

We can also assist if you have received an interim order either at the start or during the investigation. After the hearing if you want to Appeal a panel decision we can provide you with the necessary support to do this. Finally if you have been struck off the register and after five years you want to have your status restored we can provide you with advice to complete your application.
