Recovering business debts on a small budget will be the specialist subject at the next meeting of the Wigan Borough Business Club on 7th May 2013 at Room Four in Golborne.
Alistair Gregory, a partner in the Commercial department at Stephensons Solicitors LLP, will conduct the presentation which will include advice and practical examples of what businesses can do to make sure they’re paid on time.
Alistair said: “In such tough economic times, businesses need to make sure that cash is flowing in as well as out. But invoices rarely get paid on time, every time. The seminar will look at what businesses can do to steer themselves in the right direction when it comes to managing cash flow and ensuring debtors pay their bills within a reasonable time limit.”
The Wigan Borough Business Club is run by a number of leading Wigan businesses and is supported by the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce. The networking event takes place every month and is free to attend. As well as the formal seminar, there is plenty of time for businesses to network and refreshments are also provided.
