Kay's career with Stephensons began when she joined the firm one day a week for a year as part of her work experience whilst she studied law at college. After leaving college she secured a job in the family department in 2010. Kay has remained in the family department and has progressed through to paralegal, fee earner and is now an executive.
Whilst working full time Kay has studied part time for the CILEX examinations.
Kay has experience of dealing with all aspects of private family work including divorce, related children and protection from domestic violence.
Kay now manages a case load of public law matters in particular dealing with cases on behalf of local authorities (both pre proceedings and care proceedings).
“I have been a client of Stephensons for a family matter case. Kay has supported me throughout this extremely stressful time. I am always updated with documents and have been dealt with in a sensitive and understanding manner which was important to me as I have been faced with the most difficult time in my life. I am very pleased with the service that has been provided and Kay has always been very accommodating. I honestly couldn't have asked for someone better and I am very appreciative to Kay, Janet who works with Kay, and her manager Victoria, as well as the rest of the team they all are truly and genuinely lovely people; and of course the barrister Sarah who was instructed by the firm was the absolute best and has been very committed to my case. Thank you all so much I will never forget how much you have all helped me”. - View from a satisfied client
