David joined Stephensons in February 2021 having previously worked and trained at a Warrington based firm.
After originally studying English Language and Law combined at undergraduate, David went on to complete the Graduate Diploma in Law at what is now the University of Law in Chester. David subsequently studied the postgraduate Legal Practice Course and a Masters in Law, Business and Management at the University of Chester part-time whilst working as a full time trainee solicitor, achieving a distinction.
David has experience in a variety of areas and has acted for a range of clients, from individuals, to SMEs and local authorities and for clients with the benefit of legal expenses insurance in areas such as:
- Debt recovery
- Insolvency proceedings
- Breach of contract claims
- Injunctive proceedings
- Declaratory relief
- Commercial property disputes including dilapidations, forfeiture, breach of covenant and opposed lease renewals
- Mobile Homes Act claims

In his spare time David enjoys hiking and camping.
