Beth Middleton


Beth is a solicitor within the dispute resolution team.

Beth graduated from the University of Chester in 2014 with an LLB (Hons) law degree before completing the legal practice course at the University of Law. Beth joined the firm in 2015 in the consumer contract team before securing a training contract in September 2017 which she completed in 2019.

Beth primarily deals with inheritance disputes, including property and asset disputes, challenges relating to the validity of a Will, and claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family Dependants) Act 1975. Beth also specialises in professional negligence claims against solicitors, surveyors, architects and other professionals, and claims under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 relating to faulty goods and other contract disputes.  

Prior to this, Beth completed the first seat of her contract in the commercial employment department, specialising in a wide range of matters acting for both the employee and employer, particularly in relation to claims under the Employment Rights Act 1996 and Equality Act 2010. Beth also assisted with providing advice through the firm’s HR Assist and Workplace Plus packages, and provided detailed assessments for those clients funded through a legal expenses policy.

Beth later joined the personal injury team in March 2018 to commence the second seat of her training contract, primarily dealing with a range of claims such as;

  • Injury claims arising from accidents at work, public places, abroad and accidents involving defective products;
  • CICA claims
  • Road Traffic Accident claims
  • Industrial disease claims
  • Professional negligence claims relating to personal injury
  • Credit hire claims
