Anna White

Family Law Solicitor and Senior Associate


Anna was appointed a senior associate of the firm in May 2008.

Anna joined Stephensons’ care department in Manchester as a newly qualified solicitor in October 2005, initially representing both children and parents in care proceedings.

In April 2006 Anna moved to Stephensons’ Leigh office as a family and child care solicitor, becoming team leader of the Leigh family department in June of the same year. 

In her role Anna regularly deals with the Children Act, public and private law proceedings, divorce and emergency remedy matters and has represented clients in family proceedings as well as the County and High Court. She is a member of The Law Society's Children Panel. 

Anna studied at the University of Salford, where she achieved a Bsc (Hons) degree in business studies and law, before going on to complete a post graduate diploma in law and the legal practice course at the College of Law in Chester.

Away from the office Anna is passionate about horses and competes at a national level, qualifying for both the Royal International and Horse of the Year.
