Three new partners for Stephensons

The national law firm, Stephensons, has announced its latest round of partner appointments with specialists from criminal law, personal injury and clinical negligence joining the partnership.

Danielle Callaway, Laura Sheehan and Colin Rawson join the firm’s 35-strong partnership which encompasses leading solicitors from more than 30 separate legal disciplines. Stephensons has a considerable presence across Greater Manchester, with an office in the city itself and sites in Wigan, Bolton and Leigh.

Danielle began her career at Stephensons as a graduate paralegal before being offered a training contract with the firm and qualifying in 2011. She specialises in serious injury claims resulting from accidents at work, accidents in public places and road traffic accidents, as well as dealing with complex criminal injury claims and professional negligence claims. Danielle is also responsible for supervising several other case handlers within the personal injury team.

Laura joined the firm shortly after qualifying and has specialised in the fields of clinical negligence and medical negligence for the entirety of her legal career. She deals with a wide range of complex and sensitive cases, from surgical errors to misdiagnosis of birth injuries. Aside from securing much needed compensation which allows her clients to move on with their lives, Laura’s priority in each case is to provide support during what can be an incredibly difficult period of their lives.

Colin, meanwhile, joined Stephensons in 2001 and has dealt exclusively with criminal law since 2006. He had extensive experience in representing individuals in complex and serious criminal cases, including murder, large scale conspiracies and multi-hand drugs cases. Colin also deals with all aspects of driving offences and motoring law, from serious cases of death by dangerous driving to instances where an individual’s license is at risk.

Stephensons Chairwoman, Ann Harrison, said: “We are pleased to welcome Danielle, Laura and Colin to the partnership. Each of them have been with the firm for many years, showing a great deal of dedication to their clients, their departments and the firm as a whole.

“Stephensons is proud of its reputation for leading legal specialists who work alongside their client and have a relentless focus on getting the best result. Our latest partnership appointments exemplify those qualities and I am sure they will continue their significant contribution to the firm.”
