Stephensons, the national law firm, has helped to deliver an early Christmas present to a North West homelessness charity.
Kate Hancock from Stephensons housing team met with Danielle Grundy and volunteers from the Brick, in Wigan, to present a cheque for £500 on behalf of the North West Housing Law Practitioners Group (NWHLPG).
The donation was one of many made across the region in recent weeks, with a grand total of £5,000 being pledged to help charitable causes.
The Brick operates an outreach programme from its base in Wigan, Greater Manchester, providing a dedicated space for homeless people or those experiencing financial hardship, advice and help. In 2014, the Brick supported more than 10,000 people from across the Wigan Borough.
Kate said: "It was great to be able to meet Danielle and her colleagues and to learn a little more about the work that The Brick does for those most in need.
"The Brick provides a vital service to some of the most vulnerable people in the local area - including some of our clients. I'm proud to be able to provide support on behalf of NWHLPG."
