Stephensons offers seven new training contracts

The national law firm, Stephensons, has announced the appointment of seven new trainee solicitors, commencing their contracts next month.

The chosen seven – who were among more than 40 applicants from Stephensons' paralegal candidates – were selected following a rigorous assessment process to begin their two-year contracts. They will each work in four departments, for six months at a time, requiring a high level of commitment and adaptability across legal disciplines.

All trainee solicitors were invited to attend the firm’s annual induction event and given the opportunity to learn more about their future roles as well as understanding about the firm’s history and values.

Amy Makin, Amy Grimshaw, Victoria Fagan, Bethany Corday, Beth Middleton, Chloe Parish and Natalie Waddington will all join their respective departments from early September, providing legal services to Stephensons’ clients across the country.

Partner Louise Griffiths, who oversees the training contract programme said: “We’re delighted to welcome another intake of very talented trainee solicitors after what has been an exhaustive assessment process.

“Receiving a training contract at Stephensons is a significant achievement. This year, there were six applications for every one training contract awarded.

“We look forward to seeing their progress with the firm and the contribution they make to their teams, delivering the best legal service for our clients.”
