Law Firm Launches Entrepreneurs Package

Global Entrepreneurship Week: November 16th - 22nd 2009

Budding entrepreneurs are being urged to take advantage of a new service from North West law firm Stephensons Solicitors LLP.

To mark the start of Global Entrepreneurship Week from November 16th to 22nd, Stephensons’ Commercial team has put together a ‘Business Start Up’ package for those looking to make their own way in the commercial world.

The one-stop service for entrepreneurs includes everything they need to start trading, such as partnership agreements (priced at £500), terms and conditions of sale (£350), website terms of use and privacy policy (£350) and tenancy agreements (from £350).

Business people will be able to pick and chose which services they require from a ‘shopping list’ on the firm’s website – www.stephensons.co.uk/businessstartup - and Stephensons’ Commercial solicitors will be able to assist with all the elements, many of which are priced at fixed fees.

Jonathan Chadwick, Commercial Managing Partner at Stephensons, said: “Despite the gloomy economic outlook, there are still hundreds of people starting new businesses every week in the UK. Global Entrepreneurship Week aims to put the spotlight on enterprise and encourages people to turn their ideas into reality. We want to support that philosophy by making the path to being a business owner straightforward.

“Setting up a new business can be a minefield, not least due to all the elements that need to be considered. Entrepreneurs will need to ask themselves questions such as ‘What will the identity of the business be?’, ‘Will the premises be owned or leased?’, ‘What terms and conditions need to be in place for customers and suppliers?’ or ‘How will I ensure I treat my staff within the law?’.

“The Business Start Up package aims to make the process as efficient and effective as possible. We will also look to put new clients in touch with our vast network of business professionals such as accountants, banks, surveyors and insurance brokers.”

All those who take advantage of the new Business Start Up service will receive free memberships to Stephensons free domestic legal helpline, Constant, and motoring offences legal helpline, Carry on Driving.
