Award winning law firm, Stephensons Solicitors LLP, is holding a free legal breakfast seminar in September for business professionals who may encounter employment or litigation-related issues in their current roles.
The seminar, which is being held in conjunction with recruitment agency Jobwise, will take place at the USN Bolton Arena on September 23rd . It will provide business owners and managers with the latest legal updates on social networking in the workplace as well as advice on how terms and conditions can assist with recovering business debts.
Phil Richardson, partner and head of the Employment team at Stephensons, said: “This seminar will cover two very important topics for businesses. Social media is now a mainstream part of our day to day lives and few businesses know how to deal with issues it brings such as disciplining staff who misuse it in the workplace.
“Likewise recovering debts is also a daily issue for business people. We’ll focus on the litigation issues that business may encounter when recovering debts with the aim being to help them understand the pitfalls of debt recovery as well as the best practice to adopt to avoid protracted and expensive disputes in the future.”
Registration and free breakfast will begin at 8am. The seminar will start at 8.30am and will finish at 9.30am.
