Main purpose of the job:

Responsible for dealing with all new client enquiries relating to commercial litigation law and providing advice when appropriate. To offer excellent customer service on all calls received and proactively convert sales opportunities and maximise cross selling opportunities on a day to day basis.

Main key result areas

  • Provide prompt and accurate advice on various commercial legal enquiries over the telephone and email
  • Effectively handle inbound customer enquiries quickly identifying customer legal requirements
  • Provide a high level of quality customer service
  • To build relationships with clients both internally and externally
  • Works collaboratively with the commercial litigation department ensuring all enquiries are dealt with in an efficient, timely and comprehensive manner providing appropriate advice to prospective clients
  • Proactively promote the Stephensons brand to prospective clients to maximise all sales and cross selling opportunities               
  • Maintain internal records on case management in relation to all enquiries handled and create new files
  • Preparing quotes for approval and obtaining auction documentation
  • Liaising with new clients to provide documents in support of ID, obtaining monies on account to progress the file at this outset
  • Credit control in terms of chasing payments of bills 
  • Compliance with client care and complaints procedures in order to minimise the risk of negligence and comply with Law Society Rules

Law degree with a minimum 2:1, or relevant work experience
