Since 14th December 2007 anyone who wishes to sell a property on the UK market must first obtain a Home Information Pack (HIP). A HIP is designed to provide any prospective buyer with information about the property.

HIPs include an index of all documents in the pack, an energy performance certificate, a sales statement, copies of the title to the property and a plan of the property and a local search and a water/drainage search.

*If the property is leasehold, and you do not have a copy of the lease a £20 charge will apply to obtain this.
