Melanie graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree and went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at Manchester Metropolitan University.
Melanie was admitted as a solicitor in 2006 and has worked exclusively in the criminal litigation department at Stephensons’ Manchester office. Melanie is both duty qualified and police station accredited and specialises in Magistrates Court advocacy covering a wide range of offences. She has a particular interest in defending people with mental health problems.
In her spare time, Melanie has an interest in photography, enjoys keeping fit and travelling.
