After completing her Law Degree Joanne studied for a Masters Degree in Human Rights at Kings College University of London before obtaining her Diploma in Legal Practice at Chester College of Law. Upon graduation she obtained a Training Contract with a high street practice in Wigan where she progressed from Trainee Solicitor to Manager of the branch within 3 years.
In 2000 Joanne joined Stephensons as an Assistant Solicitor in the Care department based at the Salford office. She works as part of a dedicated team of Solicitors dealing with all aspects of children law, including representing parents, children as well as local authorities.
In June 2003 Joanne was appointed as an Associate of the Firm.
Joanne is a member of the Solicitors Regulation Authority's Children Panel Accreditation Scheme and a member of Child Concern.
