Victoria joined Stephensons following her graduation from the University of Northumbria at Newcastle in 1998 with an LLB (Hons) in Law and having successfully completed the Legal Practice Course. Initially working as a Graduate Clerk in the conveyancing department, before going onto complete an 18 month Training Contract and qualifying into the family law department at the Wigan office in March 2001.
Victoria was made an Associate of the firm in 2003 and moved to the Bolton office to manage the family department in 2006. In 2011 Victoria became a Partner.
The family team at Bolton are able to deal with all aspects following the breakdown of a relationship but Victoria particularly enjoys dealing with the financial matters. This involves obtaining financial settlements following a divorce or separation and she is also able to prepare and advise on prenuptial agreements.
Victoria is on the Solicitors Regulation Authority's Family Law Accreditation Scheme and is a member of Resolution.
