Managing Partner of Personal Injury & Clinical Negligence
Andrew Welch is Managing Partner for the Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury departments, both of which are among the largest departments of their kind in the UK.
He joined Stephensons in 1994 after qualifying as a solicitor and became a partner in 1998. In 2008, Andrew joined the Operational Board as Deputy Chair, and is jointly responsible for ensuring Stephensons' strategic goals are met.
Andrew’s specialism lies in legal expense insurance issues, and he is regularly called upon by the insurance press to provide expert opinion on the topic of the day.
He has been instrumental in developing Constant, the firm’s specialist legal helpline which provides callers with legal help on a whole host of everyday issues, such as buying and selling a home, motoring offences, consumer rights etc.
He is also a lecturer for the Motor Accident Solicitors Society.
