Mandy studied her Law Degree at Leeds University and then for her Solicitors' Final Examination at the College of Law in Chester. She joined Stephensons as a Trainee Solicitor in 1992 and qualified into the Family department in 1993, and has specialised in Family Law ever since.
She became Manager of the Wigan Family department in 1998 and was appointed a Partner the very same year.
Mandy is an accredited as a member of the Solicitors Regulation Authority's Children Panel Accreditation Scheme as a Children Representative and is also appointed as one of the limited number of Solicitors as a member of the Family Law Accreditation Scheme (Advanced).
Her interests and specialist areas of family work are in disputes concerning children, in particular the representation of children, parents and family members in court proceedings, and in financial settlements following a couples separation.
