Leading law firm, Stephensons Solicitors LLP, celebrated a dual award win at the LFS Conveyancing Awards 2013.
The expanding law firm, which launched a Hammersmith office earlier this year, proudly received the Gold award for the North West Region Conveyancing Law Firm of the Year and the Bronze award for Overall Law Firm of the Year. This success emulates last year’s, when Stephensons also scooped a double award win including Gold in the Overall Conveyancing Firm of the Year accolade.
Tom Bridge, managing partner of the conveyancing department and Linda Kirk, a partner and department manager, both attended the LFS Conveyancing Awards which were held at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry. The awards celebrate those legal firms from across the country which offer a first rate conveyancing service. In order to win an award, firms must proceed through six stages which include a mystery shopping exercise and an interview.
Stephensons has introduced a number of initiatives which have helped the firm to success at the LFS awards. These includes the creation of a new website www.5starconveyancing.co.uk aimed at home buyers, the introduction of Homebuyers Plus which refunds people who have been gazumped and the decision to expand the firm into London for the first time, in May 2013.
The judges said: “Stephensons’ effort to provide reassurance to consumers through a money-back guarantee product demonstrates a good understanding of the benefits of developing customer relationships based on trust and confidence.”
Tom Bridge said: “We are very proud to have won the two awards, almost equalling our success last year. We’ve been helping people to move home now for 35 years and it’s great to be recognised for the hard work the team does.
“I am extremely pleased that we’ve been recognised for our conveyancing work as it shows that we place a strong focus on the customer but it also acknowledges the relationships we have established with the estate agency community”
