The Family Law department at Stephensons Solicitors LLP is celebrating after reaching the shortlist for a national award.

Stephensons has been shortlisted, along with three other firms from across the country, in the Family Law Firm of the Year category at the annual Jordan’s Family Law Awards. The event recognises the important work of those working in family law across the country and celebrates successes and outstanding achievements.

Stephensons’ Family department has implemented a range of initiatives to ensure people can still gain access to justice following the decline of legal aid funding including fixed fees and several expert teams who specialise in domestic abuse and care cases as well as mediation and divorce.

The team, which is one of the largest in the country, also works in partnership with other agencies/charities to tackle issues such as domestic abuse and has expanded with new offices in Altrincham and London in the last 12 months.
