Here at Stephensons Solicitors LLP we are pleased to be able to assist people with employment issues via the Community Legal Advice Helpline. We are one of only a handful of firms that successfully tendered to be able to assist clients who call through The Community Legal Advice Helpline.
Stephensons have been involved with the Legal Service Commission for many years but have only delivered telephone advice through the helpline, since April 2009. In just one year, we have assisted over 2,000 people to gain Legal Advice. Through the helpline we assist clients to prepare statements, negotiate settlements and everything involved in a tribunal process. What we can’t do is attend the tribunal, but if you require representation we can organise this, however you may be required to fund this action yourself.
Members of the public can ring 0845 609 6677 and will be put through to a trained legal advisor who can assist the caller with a range of problems including:
- Employee rights
- Unfair dismissal
- Redundancy
- Conditions & contracts of employment
- Pay disputes
- Discrimination
The Legal Community Advice Helpline is open from 9am until 8pm Monday to Friday and on Saturdays 9am until 1pm and costs 4p per minute, or alternatively you can request a call back.
